Orange Olive Oil Scrub Benefits
Orange olive oil scrubs offer a range of skincare benefits, making them a popular choice for natural exfoliation and hydration. Rich in antioxidants and vitamins, the blend of orange essential oils and olive oil helps to rejuvenate and soften the skin, promoting a healthy, radiant glow.
The citrus element brightens the complexion and reduces blemishes, while olive oil deeply moisturizes and protects against dryness. Regular use of an orange olive oil scrub can leave your skin feeling smooth, refreshed, and nourished, perfect for achieving a vibrant, healthy look.
Fragrant Blood Orange Olive Oil Scrub
Mix the following:
1 Cup Warm Water
1/4 Cup Olive Tap's Blood Orange Olive Oil
1/8 Cup Epsom Salt
1/8 Cup Sugar
Combine ingredients and stir until the ingredients are well blended. Liberally rub on hands and/or feet. Let sit for about fifteen minutes or until skin feels moisturized. Rinse well. Repeat as necessary. Will leave hands and feet smelling nice and more importantly, feeling refreshed and renewed.
How long will my homemade scrub last?
A homemade oil scrub typically lasts around 6 months, depending on the ingredients used and how it's stored. Since oil scrubs don't contain water, they're less prone to bacterial growth, but adding fresh ingredients like citrus zest may shorten their shelf life.
To extend its longevity, store your scrub in an airtight container, keep it away from direct sunlight, and avoid introducing moisture into the jar. If it smells rancid or the texture changes, it's time to make a fresh batch.
